Hola Amigos, So i completed my first month on the first of this month!!!!! 23 months to go! This morning i heard from my agent that Im supposed to make a personal appearance this Thursday between 10-12!!!! So im not going to be staying for the 2 whole transfers here in Utah. sorry for the emails before this im not very good on computers 😂 Anyways, my companion and I are teaching this latino family and its going very well! So this latino family has been going through a rough patch in their life, so recently The mother (Blanca) just lost her brother in Mexico because he was part of a cartel around there. Also, like 2 weeks ago her son got caught with marijuana and now is in jail. The bad thing that Blanca is worried about is that shes worried that her son is going to get sent to Mexico like her brother. The mother is really worried and depressed, but now we are teaching about what we believe and the gospel of Jesus Christ. We've taught them 3 times already and they are progressing. The only thing that we dont know is if they are married or not?! The last lesson Blanca said that she was reading the Book Of Mormon from the start because we left her an invitation to read a chapter in Alma. She said she might as well start from the beginning so she could understand what she was reading. But at our lesson this past week she said that she knows that what she is reading is true!!!! ANNNNND they went to church with their whole family of 6!!!! I felt so much happiness seeing them at church. It makes everything so worth it when you see the change in people. Especially in the Gospel. Every time i testify of things that i know are true, the spirit over comes me! It feels like the words coming out of my mouth arent even my own. It feels so awesome. So that has been my week! Trying to find a new person everyday, this work is hard. Harder than i expected. But i know everything is worth it. AGAIN, thank you all for the support. Im so grateful for each and every person that has been supporting me on this journey! I love you all!!! Ill keep yall updated on how my visa is doing each p day!!!

Hello Brothers and Sister whom I love, a lot of things have happened since the last time I emailed😬 sorry for not keeping you all in the loop! But here we go! First of all, I BAPTIZED AGAIN!!! Her name was Maria Esther, she was so wonderful! I found her in my very first transfer in Mexico with my trainer and we began to start teaching her the lessons! But her difficulty was that her ankle wouldn't let her walk or work so we decided to keep on teaching her and keep on giving her commitments to keep! So here came my 2nd transfer in the same area! As soon as I received my new companion we went to her house since I haven't seen her in a few weeks! She asked me if i could give her a blessing for health and strength. Elder Hugo Rodriguez 11-28-18 November 28, 2018 10-31-18 Hello Sister Blackburn, I arrived at the Provo MTC all well. Tell my mother that i love her with all my heart and I'm safe as can be. Also tell her that ill give her a call as soon as i can. I love you also. Things here are so different than just being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ out in the world. 7-8-19 through 9-30-19

7-8-19 Hola mis amigos! This week was just a normal week, nothing really happened. This area is pretty hard, i feel like i dont have the confidence of all the members here, its the first time ive really felt like that here in the mission. Honestly I dont like the feeling at all, but what do I do when there hasnt been missionaries here working like they are supposed to for the past 6 months before i got here. The new mission president told me that im here for a reason and that i need to try my hardest to get that confidence back from the members. I am trying my hardest but i feel like im not going anywhere with it, and we all know that missionary work is ridiculously hard without the members help. Theres also another problem... the sisters in my district arent getting along well and yesterday they told me that they dont want to work together... and that they want to have special transfers.
