7-8-19 Hola mis amigos! This week was just a normal week, nothing really happened. This area is pretty hard, i feel like i dont have the confidence of all the members here, its the first time ive really felt like that here in the mission. Honestly I dont like the feeling at all, but what do I do when there hasnt been missionaries here working like they are supposed to for the past 6 months before i got here. The new mission president told me that im here for a reason and that i need to try my hardest to get that confidence back from the members. I am trying my hardest but i feel like im not going anywhere with it, and we all know that missionary work is ridiculously hard without the members help. Theres also another problem... the sisters in my district arent getting along well and yesterday they told me that they dont want to work together... and that they want to have special transfers. Since the first week of this transfer i noticed something wrong with them, i tried my hardest to w...

Hello people whom I love, I dont really have much to say about this week but all i can say is being a district leader has changed my life. Being a leader of a district is incredible, ive had the chance to get to know all the missionaries and where they are from, ive grown to love each and every one of them. Each week i have to call them and check on how they are doing in their companionships and in their areas, it made me really think about how much this position of leadership is important to all the missionaries here. Sometimes they need that extra support in their missions and im glad that im here to help them. It really makes me forget about myself honestly, and just focus on the work that i was called to do. Ive seen some amazing changes in myself this transfer. Sorry that i dont have much to say to you people but its just been a crazy transfer of changes and we just recieved our new mission president! his name is President Redd and he served his mission in Peru and knows to speak ...

Hello Brothers and Sister whom I love, a lot of things have happened since the last time I emailed😬 sorry for not keeping you all in the loop! But here we go! First of all, I BAPTIZED AGAIN!!! Her name was Maria Esther, she was so wonderful! I found her in my very first transfer in Mexico with my trainer and we began to start teaching her the lessons! But her difficulty was that her ankle wouldn't let her walk or work so we decided to keep on teaching her and keep on giving her commitments to keep! So here came my 2nd transfer in the same area! As soon as I received my new companion we went to her house since I haven't seen her in a few weeks! She asked me if i could give her a blessing for health and strength. The very next day her ankle wasn't hurting her as much and the swelling had gone down dramatically! She knew it was because the blessing I gave her! We invited her to church so many times before when I was still in my training but she could never go because of her a...

Hola Amigitos! SO 2 Saturdays ago the branch invited my companion and I to Cerritos. Cerritos is a pueblito like an hour and half from my area. The stake presidency is thinking about opening it to be an area where missionaries are able to work!!!! In Cerritos i think theres only a couple of members but theres isnt a chapel there! So they have their services in their houses! So we went! All the missionaries in the stake went as well, and each missionary had their own group of people including young men and others from the Elders Quorum. Each person chose which missionary they wanted so... an ex missionary chose me and 5 other youn men chose to be with me! It was wierd because i had no idea who they were and why they chose me, we became friends really quickly! They sent each group to an area and we started to proselyte! We proselyted for about 3 hours straight! My group and I found like 17 new references!!!! We contacted everything that moved and invited everyone that we contacted to a s...

I recieved my new companion Elder Nunes, He came from Fresnillo, Zacatecas where he had everything like all the cool stores and everything was right there for him and then he was transferred to my area Cardenas where there is nothing lol! So this week was pretty rough! He was a depressed just to see how the city was and all these others things probably were going through his mind but oh well... So hes from Brazil and doesnt speak that much to me. Hopefully things will get better but im going to try my best to love him and work with him!!! I love you all so much and see you all next week!!!!

This transfer flew by! We found out if we are getting transfered this Saturday😬 We didnt do much this week, My compa, Elder Hernandez got pretty sick. He came up with a sore throat and a lot of cough and runny nose😥 SO i had to take care of him a lot this week. It was weird for me, never had I had to take care of another perosn before like this before but as we are taught here in the mission we must love our companion as much as we love ourselves. We didnt leave the house much to proselyte or do anything. It was a really slow week for us or at least for me because we didnt get to work normally. I think Im getting sick but im trying my best to take care of myself as much as I can! This past Tuesday we had Zone Conference which is all the missionaries in our zone meet up and we teach eachother if that makes sense. It was pretty cool to meet all the missionaries in my zone. I have a lot of photos but I forgot my USB at the house, so I promise ill send them next week. Other than that, n...
