Hello Brothers and Sister whom I love, a lot of things have happened since the last time I emailed😬 sorry for not keeping you all in the loop! But here we go! First of all, I BAPTIZED AGAIN!!! Her name was Maria Esther, she was so wonderful! I found her in my very first transfer in Mexico with my trainer and we began to start teaching her the lessons! But her difficulty was that her ankle wouldn't let her walk or work so we decided to keep on teaching her and keep on giving her commitments to keep! So here came my 2nd transfer in the same area! As soon as I received my new companion we went to her house since I haven't seen her in a few weeks! She asked me if i could give her a blessing for health and strength. The very next day her ankle wasn't hurting her as much and the swelling had gone down dramatically! She knew it was because the blessing I gave her! We invited her to church so many times before when I was still in my training but she could never go because of her ankle. But days after the blessing I gave her, she called us to check if we could go pick her up and walk with her to church! It was such a blessing of our Father In Heaven and Jesus Christ that she had the desire to go to Church! Her first assistance to church was in Week 2!Reminding you guys that each transfer only has 6 weeks and that investigators need to attend 3 times before getting baptized! My companion and I put a baptismal date for her on the 23rd of March! We prayed and fasted for her to keep on going to church the following weeks so she could be baptized in that transfer! She ended up getting baptized Saturday, the 23rd of March! So, right after her baptismal service we were walking back to our house and all of a sudden we get a call from the Zone Leaders telling me that I have to pack my stuff and be in Fresnillo, Zacatecas by Tuesday! When I got home I packed all my books and stuff I had on my desk, the next day was obviously Church and none of the members knew that I was leaving and that my companion was staying. I started with the Branch President and just went on from there. I was really shocked at how the members reacted. Members started to cry and started to tell me why I had to leave, I was all cool about my transfers but as soon as I found out how much the members really loved me and cared for me I started to cry a little. But I had the chance to share my last testimony in Cardenas, San Luis Potosi, and I told them that I will never be able to repay them for what they did for me and all the other missionaries that came through that area before me and that I was so thankful to be able to serve their as a missionary of Jesus Christ! The saddest thing for me was that I couldnt say bye to my recent converts, Yamileth y Maria Esther 😖 Ill be putting pictures of the Baptism below! So now Im in Fresnillo, Zacatecas! Im with Elder Perez! Hes from Guatemala, Guatemala! Hes the only member of his family as well! Hes such an amazing person and so humble! We get along so well! Im in the Barrio(Ward) Americas! We are working so hard with the members and the inactive members! We've been blessed by our efforts in this amazing work to have this family that is willing to follow the example of Jesus Christ and be baptized by someone who has the authority of God! The mother is a member but her husband and 2 little girls aren't! All 3 have accepted to be baptized this month on the 26th!! So grateful and happy for that families desire to REPENT, President Russell M. Nelson has told us that all people need to repent! SO grateful to have a Prophet and his apostles in these latter-days to guide us and KEEP us on the covenant path. General Conference was so amazing! I LOVED each of the talks! SO... that's all that has happened in the few weeks that i haven't been able to write you all! I hope you all have an amazing week ! I love you all❤❤
