So got to Aguascalientes this past Monday night. Was greeted by the APs and some other elders in the mission. So got here around 9:30 pm on Monday didnt get to the APs house until 10:30 and once we all got here the APs didnt have any food for us so they had to go get some food at a tiendita ( which means little store). They made this pasta with some sort of orange cream on it with little sorts of sausage in it. It was really good actually. By the time we all finished eating and stuff it was already like 12 and we all hopped into bed but i couldnt really go to bed with all the music and the fireworks going off since it was the new year... so the next few days i had to deal with stuff with my visa and other things that i had to do. my companion and i stayed in Aguascalientes until Wednesday so we just chilled at the APs house until like noon and met with these other 2 elders at the Central of Aguascalientes where the busses are. We arrived in our area finally today around lunch and a Hermano picked us up and took us to eat lunch. Lonchamos unas gorditas con una agua de naranja!!!!!! I ate some gorditas filled with bean and cheese they were really good! So yeah ive been doing good and im safe here! Thank you all for the support and the love you all have for me!!! Hello Brothers and Sister whom I love, a lot of things have happened since the last time I emailed😬 sorry for not keeping you all in the loop! But here we go! First of all, I BAPTIZED AGAIN!!! Her name was Maria Esther, she was so wonderful! I found her in my very first transfer in Mexico with my trainer and we began to start teaching her the lessons! But her difficulty was that her ankle wouldn't let her walk or work so we decided to keep on teaching her and keep on giving her commitments to keep! So here came my 2nd transfer in the same area! As soon as I received my new companion we went to her house since I haven't seen her in a few weeks! She asked me if i could give her a blessing for health and strength. The very next day her ankle wasn't hurting her as much and the swelling had gone down dramatically! She knew it was because the blessing I gave her! First Letters Home

Elder Hugo Rodriguez 11-28-18 November 28, 2018 10-31-18 Hello Sister Blackburn, I arrived at the Provo MTC all well. Tell my mother that i love her with all my heart and I'm safe as can be. Also tell her that ill give her a call as soon as i can. I love you also. Things here are so different than just being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ out in the world. 7-8-19 through 9-30-19

7-8-19 Hola mis amigos! This week was just a normal week, nothing really happened. This area is pretty hard, i feel like i dont have the confidence of all the members here, its the first time ive really felt like that here in the mission. Honestly I dont like the feeling at all, but what do I do when there hasnt been missionaries here working like they are supposed to for the past 6 months before i got here. The new mission president told me that im here for a reason and that i need to try my hardest to get that confidence back from the members. I am trying my hardest but i feel like im not going anywhere with it, and we all know that missionary work is ridiculously hard without the members help. Theres also another problem... the sisters in my district arent getting along well and yesterday they told me that they dont want to work together... and that they want to have special transfers.
